Federal Government Reduces The Price Of Petrol To N97
The federal government of Nigeria has reduced the pump price of petrol to N97. In a broadcast at 7a.m this morning President Goodluck Jonathan addresses the masses by saying "given the hardships being suffered by Nigerians, and after due consideration and consultations with state governors and the leadership of the National Assembly, government has approved the reduction of the pump price of petrol to N97 per litre".
For the meantime, Labour has suspended street protest to embark on a stay at home strike.
