It was earlier said that Gunmen (suspected to be Boko Haram) in the FCT hijacked a school bus today Tuesday 6th, 2014. The news spreading very fast most especially in the Nyanya and Maraba region causing parents and guardians to withdraw their wards from both private and public school turned out to be false.
It was said that a twitter handle which belonged to a secret reporter @fejirooliver tweeted saying "Again, school bus hijacked in Nyanya and school girls taken. So after two successful attempt in Nyanya, they could not provide security?"
This tweet has also be said to be false as the school in question whose bus was said to have been hijacked denied such from happening.
